Basketball

The Velma Jackson High School Athletic Department is proud to announce the 2025–2026 Falcons Basketball Schedule. This year’s lineup features a competitive series of matchups, including district games, classic tournament appearances, and the annual Senior Night.

The season begins on November 1 with the Jamboree in Kosciusko and continues with a rotation of home and away games through February. Opponents throughout the season include Pelahatchie, Leake County, St. Andrews, Canton, Eupora, Kemper County, East Webster, and Philadelphia. Senior Night is scheduled for January 23 during the home game versus Philadelphia.

The season concludes with the District Tournament hosted in Kemper County from February 9–13.

Led by Boys’ Head Coach Jeremy Jackson and Girls’ Head Coach Sharlandria Winston, the basketball program remains committed to excellence, sportsmanship, and Falcon pride on and off the court.

Fans, families, and community supporters are encouraged to attend throughout the season and cheer on the Falcons and Lady Falcons. Fans are encouraged to join us throughout the season and help cheer our Falcons and Lady Falcons to victory.
